Ventura Surf is situated in the Bay of Corralejo only 30 metres from the launching area making access to the water very easy.

Corralejo Bay is central to most accommodation in Corralejo so access by foot is generally pretty easy. There is not a lot of parking in the area so walking is the best option if possible.

In the summer, with the wind mainly blowing from the North , there is flat water in the bay and a superb swell near the island of Los Lobos. In the winter months the East and North East trades lock in, with a sheltered area on the inside and wave sailing can be had near Rocky Point.

The colour of the water is sublime, particularly as you approach Los Lobos Island where it turns a iridescent turquoise blue.

The centre constantly observes its customers from shore via binoculars and there’s also a rescue boat always at hand.

There is good rage of quality windsurfing equipment to rent, as the centre also provides beginner windsurf courses. One thing to note is that they don’t offer any equipment insurance; you break it, you pay for it.

In addition to windsurfing, the centre also offers SUP and surfboard rentals and can also tee you up with surfing lessons.

The centre is open all year round.
