Sandringham Harbour is located on Port Phillip Bay NE of Melbourne. This sheltered harbour is a good spot for beginners in most wind directions, except for a northerly where it can be blustery and off-shore. Sperm Whale Head is located in the Lakes National Park on the Gippsland Lakes approximately 270 km east of Melbourne. Most people who visit this spot would do so via boat. Lake Connewarre is located on the Bellarine Peninsula just a short drive out of Geelong in Victoria. This spot can be good for flat-water-blasting and even speed sailing if the conditions are right regarding wind direction, tide & amount of weed.
