Hoi An, located in the north of the South Central Coast region just south of Da Nang, has a fairly small Kitesurfing and Windsurfing scene compared to Mui Ne, which is located further south in Vietnam.
This spot is used by a small crew of locals (Vietnamese and Expatriates). The main activity here is Kitesurfing. During the Northeastern Monsoon season, the beach is mainly onshore, so the tricky chop makes it not ideal for windsurfing or wingfoiling. Advance and proficient windsurfers could get out in the on-shore conditions, but it is not for everyone.
When the wind is not Northeasterly then there are opportunities to windsurf and wing foil here.
