This spot is good for beginners in light winds and flat water sailors in a SSE breeze.

For beginners, sail on an in-bound tide so worst case you may end up a little further inland. Much of the area you can touch bottom when standing up.

Access, Rigging & Launching

Drive to the south end of South Esplanade and you will hit a sealed car park. The the rear of the car par there is a nice grass area for rigging windsurfers or a reasonably wide sandy beach (depending in the tide) to the front of the car park.
