Blairgowrie (Victoria, Australia)
Blairgowrie is located on Port Phillip Bay on the Mornington Peninsula approximately 105 km (1.5 hours drive) from Melbourne.
This spot offers good bump-and-jump conditions from NW to E. It is also possible to sail in a S and SW however it is off-shore and somewhat gusty but the water can be very flat in these conditions.
Access & Launching
Sullivan Bay is a popular spot for rigging & launching and there is a car park right on the foreshore.
There are many spots with foreshore car parks that may be suitable to rig & launch around Blairgowrie.
Kiters be very careful when around beach goers as this beach like most Peninsula beaches can get pretty busy during summer.
Hazards
The water is shallow for a long way out so be aware of sand bars lurking just below the surface of the water.
Also be aware of beach goers in the water, speed limits and other boats in the area.
Not the best quality video but it gives you an idea as to what the water looks like...
