Tambo Bay is located on the Gippsland Lakes approximately 310 km (3.5 hours drive) east of Melbourne.

It sits between Metung (approx 8km or 8 mins drive) and Paynesville (approx 44km, 35 mins drive) so either of those places are a good place to base yourself for kiteboarding here.

This spot works well for kiteboarding from W to SSE

Access & Launching

Access via Reynolds Road and there are several good rigging and launching spots on the right hand side just before you hit Tambo Blvd.
