Australian Kite Surfari runs kitesurfing holidays in a remote part of northern Queensland, this is a true adventure, which starts from your collection in Cairns from May to October each year. The beach is only accessible by 4WD vehicle and at low tide only!

All bookings include pick-up from Cairns, departures are by 1030am, in order to beat the tides. The location of the lagoon you’ll be staying at, is only accessible at low tide and is truely isolated, being around a 5 hour journey from Cairns, timely departure is crucial to hit the tide window to access the beach! Kiting here is as exclusive as it gets, as permission is granted only for the guests of Australian Kite Surfari by the Elders of the local indigenous community.
For those who are after a little less time on the road after arriving at Cairns, there is the option to dump your gear in Cairns to be collected by the Australian Kite Surfari crew, and then hop on a small regional aircraft to fly from Cairns to Cooktown, where you will be collected and your journey will only be another 1.5 hours to the exclusive location!
