For over 30 years, Dan has been obsessed with anything powered by wind. From starting his windsurfing and sailing journey in the Middle East, windsurfing the gusty lakes and the freezing channel of the UK, to waves in Australia, his drive has always been to find the next great session.
This passion for exploration isn’t just limited to the water. As the creator of the overlanding and adventure travel blog, Getting Lost Again, Dan has mastered the art of finding, documenting, and sharing remote and hard-to-reach places. He’s the guy who will drive that extra mile down a dusty track just to see if a rumoured spot is the real deal. His on-the-ground experience is the engine of our spot discovery.
Greg spent decades chasing wind and snow, but his real superpower was building world-class online resources for adventure sports.
He was the co-founder and mastermind behind PowderHounds.com, the web’s most trusted and comprehensive guide for skiers and snowboarders. Greg knew exactly what it takes to build a platform that was not only packed with authoritative information but was also incredibly user-friendly and reliable. He did it successfully for the snow community, and he brought that same architectural vision to the water, laying the foundation for WindHounds.
