Windsurfing Paradise Lanzarote
Windsurf Paradise Lanzarote is located near the beachfront at Lanzarote and offers windsurfing gear rentals for all levels and ages.
LOCATION:
Windsurf Paradise Lanzarote is located on Las Cucharas Beach approximately 50 metres from the launching area making it the most convenient centre for launching at Costa Teguise. It is central to most accommodation so an easy walk.
FACILITIES:
Windsurf Paradise doesn't come with a lot of frills but it does provide a changing room and there is a cafe/bar right next door which has a shaded seating area and also has wifi available.
GEAR RENTALS:
The centre has a relatively small number of boards and sails available for rent compared to other centres in the area. There is a cross-section of premium boards from freeride, freewave and freestyle as well as wave boards, plus an assortment of beginners and kids boards.
Sails range from 3.0 to 8.3 sqm in size of various types and quality.
Rentals are available from 1+ hours and they accept walk-ins but prefer pre-bookings where possible.
Overall the gear offered by Windsurf Paradise is on the older side.
Windsurfer rentals include the free use of a harness and wetsuit (plus bouyancy vest for kids) and insurance is available for an extra fee.
OTHER RENTAL EQUIPMENT:
They also offer SuPs, surfboards and body boards for rent.
LESSONS & COACHING:
Group and private lessons are available from qualified instructors in English, German, French and Spanish for first-timers, improvers and advanced riders.
They also teach wave sailing in summer and Slalom/Race (mostly in winter).
SAFETY:
They share the observer duties with the other Costa Teguise centres as well as the rescue craft. Coaching / lessons are done from a boat so support is close at hand for those receiving tuition.
HANG OUTS:
There is a small cafe/bar right next door (Surf Corner) offering food & beverages, wifi and some shaded seating.

  Windsurf Paradise has a limited range and number of boards and the gear tended to be a bit tired. They cooperate with the other centres with observing and rescue boats and also do boat training so the level of safety appears to be good. Their location is superior to the other centres in Cost Teguise as they are just 50m from the launching area so carrying gear to/from is a lot easier. There is a small cafe/bar right next door where you can get some good people watching. We have given them an overall rating of 3/5 for value as whilst their gear tends to be on the older side they are a little cheaper than the other centres in the area.
