Point Moore is a popular sailing area for windsufers & kitesurfers in Geraldton located approx 420 km (4.5 hours drive) north of Perth in Western Australia. The location consists of a bay flanked by 2 points which juts out from the mainland by about 4 kms resulting in clean and strong winds. The bay provide good conditions for beginners when the winds are light and then becomes a fabulous spot for slalom and flat water blasters & bump-and-jump freeriders as the wind increases. The spot also provides for some great wave riding for advanced wave riders who know how to manage sailing on a reef safely. The beaches are wide and uncrowded making it an ideal place for rigging & launching kites safely and there is also a nice grass area for de-rigging windsurfers and packing up gear.
