Corralejo's - Food & Nightlife

Corralejo not only offers white sandy beaches and a picturesque harbour, but  also some of the best bars and restaurants too. The majority of the nightlife in Fuerteventura takes place in Corralejo. From traditional tapas to live music, the Corralejo nightlife scene is bright and lively, with variety to cater for everyone. Whether you’re after delicious cocktails, a party atmosphere or even a quiet dinner at a Spanish taverna, here’s a round-up of the best areas to eat, drink or dance the night away on your Corralejo holiday.

Eating out

There’s a wide choice when it comes to eating out, with most restaurants in Corralejo found along main street, in the old town, or in Music Square down by the harbour. Evenings along main street have a buzz to them, with many choosing to come here to start their night out with a meal. Wander down this palm tree-lined street and you’ll find numerous restaurants serving everything from Chinese, Italian and British cuisines to Indian and Tex-Mex, as well as vegetarian and vegan-friendly options. If sampling some authentic Canarian culture is more on your agenda, then head to the old town’s cobbled streets and explore the traditional Spanish bars and tapas restaurants. Corralejo has plenty to choose from, and the harbour is still used by local fishermen, so you can expect an array of fresh fish to be on the menu at many of the great seafood restaurants that line the modern marina. You can dine al fresco at the waterfront watching the blue and red hulled boats bob in the water as you tuck into tasty seafood like swordfish, seabass, and octopus. As well as the local restaurants, it’s worth visiting a few of the hotels with fantastic dining options too, even if you’re not staying there.

Entertainment and Nightlife

Just like the restaurants in Corralejo, there’s a huge choice of pubs, discos, and bars to match. There are sports bars that show all the latest games on big screens, traditional British pubs for that home from home feel and even Irish pubs with extra cold Guinness on tap. Many of Corralejo’s best bars are dotted along main street, with the three-floor Atlantico Centre also close by and packed with places to drink and dance. Live music is a hugely important part of Corralejo nightlife, and you’ll find lots of different genres being played here, particularly at ‘Music Square, where a lot of local groups play during the day. There are several venues that offer acoustic sessions as evening entertainment with sets from guitar soloists, five-piece rock bands and more; just make sure you arrive early to make sure you get a seat! If you’d rather showcase your own talents instead, then why not head to a karaoke bar where you can sing on stage to all the classics? For a late-night party scene, then the idyllic beach front is the place to be. Here you’ll find clubs and bars playing out music until the early hours. No matter what your tastes, whether you want to party all night or chill out to some cool jazz, Corralejo nightlife keeps you entertained all night long
