Short Point Merimbula (NSW Australia)

Short point can be a good wave sailing spot in a NE breeze for kiters & windsurfers. The beach can be quite busy with suntanners during summer so you will need to walk up the beach a bit to launch and kiters will need to go further up the beach to rig & launch. There is also a flat water option here for kitesurfers in Black Lake which is also accessible from Short Point. The brackish water is very shallow in places so not an option for windsurfing.
