Coila Lake Windsurfing

Coila Lake is located approximately 50 kms south of Batemans Bay at Tuross Heads on the South Coast of New South Wales.

It is a good option for windsurfing & wing foiling in a NE however it works in most directions except a westerly.

The spot is very safe and would also be suitable for first-timers and kids to learn.

The lake get a few small non-poisonous jelly fish but apart from that there really doesn’t seem to be any significant hazards.

Access the spot from the sporting oval at the north end of Tuross Heads.

There is a nice open grassy area to rig and a good safe launching spot plus free car parking.

If you are looking to stay in the area there is a holiday park just a couple of minutes away plus a few other options in and around Tuross Heads.
