Lake Wollumboola is located approximately 30 mins drive north of Jervis Bay (just south of Culburra) on the NSW South Coast.
In a SSW to SW breeze the water can be super flat and ideal for speed sailing and flat-water-blasting. As the breeze moves more S, the water becomes more choppy.
It works for both windsurfers and kitesurfers.
The lake can be very shallow in the summer months and at times almost empty so check on the water level before heading to this spot.
The spot also works well with the prevailing NE summer trade winds as the wind funnels directly over the sand / entrance into the lake.
You will need a weed fin here particularly when the lake is low.
